MOMA

In Beijing, this private residence is shaped by a deliberate reduction—where elegance emerges through clarity rather than ornament. Guided by a “less is more” approach, the design removes excess, allowing material and proportion to take precedence.
Soft textiles and warm wood finishes introduce a quiet tactility, while natural light moves gently through the interior, setting a calm and measured rhythm. The space relies not on gesture, but on balance—subtle shifts in tone, texture, and scale.
Nothing calls for attention, yet everything feels considered. A home for gathering, for retreat, and for returning to a sense of order.
