YUHU XI'AN

Perched at the top of a residential tower in Suzhou, this penthouse is shaped by its relationship to light and horizon. Expansive glazing, open terraces, and uninterrupted views dissolve the boundary between interior and landscape.
A calm white palette defines the space, amplifying daylight and reinforcing a sense of clarity. The plan opens into a generous living hall, where circulation remains fluid and unobstructed, allowing the architecture to extend outward toward the lake.
Material expression is deliberately minimal, giving precedence to proportion, light, and the changing atmosphere beyond. As the day unfolds, the interior shifts with it—subtle, continuous, and closely attuned to its surroundings.
